We have been very lucky and just had our third stay at The Montana and am pleased to say it was as good as ever. The staff are so welcoming and friendly yet professional, nothing is to much trouble. It is definitely worth paying the supplement for a Lake View Room, just stunning views. We travelled with the tour operator ‘Inghams’ and was on a Half Board Basis. The food was excellent 4 course evening meal with a choice of main course. The hotel has its own funicular railway which takes you down to the lakeside. I travelled with my 87 year old Mother and both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.
