Miriam Böger recommends:
A visit to the Kunstmuseum should not be without an extended view of the KKL! As a trainee in the kitchen, I was allowed to get to know the inside of the KKL many years ago. Since then I have been fascinated by the unique architecture. There are so many little thoughts behind the individual elements - the best way to get to know them is to take one of the public tours. It is a unique experience to stand (almost) alone in the large concert hall!
Culture and Congress Center Lucerne
A visit to the Culture and Congress Center Lucerne should not be missing from your art program. The Montana and the KKL have always had an intimate connection - after all, the architect Jean Nouvel slept in room 513 while he was drawing the first sketches of the new concert hall with the best view.
Numerous concerts and festivals take place in the Culture and Congress Center, you can find the program here.
In addition, the KKL offers public tours for everyone: Take a look behind the scenes of the KKL on one of the unique tours. Learn more about Jean Nouvel's architecture and Russell Johnson's acoustics. Experience the play of water and light up close and be fascinated.
